Kehte Deer is from Six Nations of the Grand River where he lives with his wife and daughters. He belongs to the Bear Clan and the Mohawk Nation. He is joining SI as our Language Director and as one of his first projects, he has written the first in a series of Cayuga language books. Please join us in welcoming Kehte to our team!

It's been a very exciting process that we've been delighted to be involved in. Now that book is ready to be shared with the world and we are so pleased to invite you to a special event launching 'Art of Peace' by Elizabeth Doxtater and 'Spirit & Intent' by Sara General.
